MU8 Hairstylist / Makeup Artist Qualifications
At least 2 years of professional bridal Hairstylist and/or Makeup Artistry experience
Must have a valid driver’s license as well as reliable transportation
Must have frequent weekend availability
Must have knowledge of current bridal hair and/or makeup styles, particularly MU8’s signature hair and makeup styles
Must own a fully stocked professional working hair and/or makeup kit that adheres to all sanitation standards
Must have the ability to confidently and comfortably work with all skin tones and/or hair textures
Must have and maintain professional and proper conduct and communication with leadership, clients, and team.

Hey There! Patrice here! So, I’ve been in this industry for 10 years now. In my early years, I was balancing both corporate life and freelance artistry. Through it all, I saw what worked, what didn’t, and—most importantly—what was missing. When I created MU8, I made it my mission to take everything I loved from both the corporate and beauty world and build a team that felt empowering, supportive, organized, structured, and genuinely fulfilling to be part of—while cutting out anything that didn’t serve the artists doing the work.
As a team leader, I don’t believe in just leading. I believe in SERVING. I don’t want artists working FOR MU8—I want you working WITH MU8. This team thrives because we have clear policies, high standards, and strong procedures in place—not to micromanage, but to create structure that allows us to operate like a well-oiled machine. This way of operaton makes everything run smoothly so that you can focus on your craft.
